PROTRAN TECHNOLOGY APPOINTS CLAY BUNTING AS DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF TRAINING, FIELD ENGINEERING AND TRAINING

Newton, NJ (May 24, 2016)…Protran Technology announced today the appointment of Clay A. Bunting as Deputy Director of Training and Field Engineering to further develop Protran’s growing range of advanced technology systems for railway and transportation safety.


Protran Technology, a Harsco Rail company, is a leader in secondary advanced warning systems for personnel safety, serving both the rail and bus industries. Mr. Bunting brings with him a wealth of experience within the transportation industry, particularly in the areas of track worker safety and protection. He spent the last 35 years as a transit and railroad professional at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). During that time, he held several senior level positions including General Superintendent of Track and Structures and Director of Capital Programs and Planning. He also served as Chairman of WMATA’s Roadway Worker Protection (RWP) Task Force and Chairman of the Roadway Worker Protection Committee, where he led the development of WMATA’s award-winning RWP Program.
