HARSCO’S PROTRAN TECHNOLOGY TO PRESENT RAILWAY MANDATES AND UNVEIL NEW TECHNOLOGY AT 2017 INTERNATIONAL RAIL SAFETY SEMINAR AND EXPO
WEST COLUMBIA, SC, (April 14, 2017) — Harsco’s Protran Technology unit, part of the Company’s Harsco Rail division, announced today its participation in the 2017 International Rail Safety Seminar and Expo, April 10 through 11 in Orlando, Florida.Speaking on behalf of Protran Technology is the company’s Vice President of Protran Technology and Transit Technology Expert, Peter Bartek. Mr. Bartek will present on Monday, April 10 from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. the 2017/2018 FRA and FTA recommendations and mandates for Roadway Worker Protection, Collision Avoidance, and Fail Safe Shunting along with the newest work gang safety technology, Redundant Signal Employee Warning System.
