Undercutter

Designed to be self-sufficient, Harsco Rail undercutters are capable of undercutting trenches and mainline track as well as trenching ballast shoulders. The machine’s robust design allows for efficient operation in extreme fouled ballast conditions, and operation occurs without the requirement to remove track or infrastructure. Spoil is removed and transferred to spoil conveyors for disposal.

Performance:

  • Reliable and proven machine
  • Short setup time during tight working windows
